Members of the communities surrounding our Pipeline Health hospitals in three states have a new tool for achieving good health.
Health Connection is a community newsletter launched this month to keep individuals informed on topics to improve their health and maintain wellness. The inaugural issue features suggestions for health-related new year’s resolutions and tips for catching up on overdue health screenings. Recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination also are featured.
Each month’s issue is localized for each hospital with information about “what’s new at your hospital” and how to contact the hospital for care.
The monthly newsletter is distributed free of charge to an email list of local community members and is posted on each hospital’s website.
Printed copies will be distributed at local churches, senior centers and other community locations.
“This is a new initiative from our Pipeline Health marketing and communications team, and we appreciate the collaboration with individuals at each hospital who are building and utilizing their local community contacts lists,” said Jane Brust, Pipeline vice president for marketing and communications.
“The Health Connection newsletter is an opportunity to serve members of our communities when they are well. We hope to invite many individuals to connect with our hospitals through this monthly publication.”
Individuals may email the community contacts indicated in the newsletters posted online with a request to be added to their local Health Connection email distribution list.
