Pipeline Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Anthony “Tony” Tedeschi as Senior Advisor and Chicago Market Leader for Pipeline Health, effective Aug. 16.
In this role, Tony will support and work with Barbara Martin, CEO of West Suburban Medical Center, and Irene Dumanis, CEO of Weiss Memorial Hospital, and their leadership teams in the Chicago market to provide quality improvement, customer service, employee engagement, and financial stability.
As a physician executive with more than 30 years of operational and clinical healthcare experience, Tony’s work in helping more than a dozen hospitals with turnaround strategies will be a great asset to Pipeline Health.
His background includes starting a clinical practice in a rural community and serving as interim co-CEO and hospital president for a large suburban integrated delivery system. He was interim COO of Cook County Health and Hospitals System in Chicago and led organizational performance improvement as COO and CMO of two urban, nonprofit safety-net city hospitals.
Board-certified in family medicine, Tony earned a bachelor of arts degree from Knox College and is proud to serve on the school’s board of directors. He holds a medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and master’s degrees in business administration from Northwestern University and in public health from Medical College of Wisconsin.
